Brian was great. The office was horrible. There were a series of mistakes and they not seem to care how the delays were impacting on the customer. Their scheduling policies are apparently designed for the convenience of the repair folks not the client. For example, my initial part was ordered by the office to be shipped to my house. It arrived the night before my initial appointment. Since it had not arrived the day before, they canceled my appointment. Rather than scheduling me the next week, which would’ve been appropriate, they told me that I was at the back of the line and all of the appointments for the next three weeks ahead of me were filled, so I would have to wait for the next new available appointment. As if I had not already waited three or four weeks for the first appointment, the one that was canceled. This strategy obviously helps the office schedule their work, but essentially punishes the customer when the part delivery process is unpredictably slow. Since I received a total of 3 shipments of parts, I went through this torture over and over. Several months without use of my dishwasher. Again, Brian was great and tried his best. And I understand that sometimes it takes a few tries to get things fixed. But this scheduling scheme is not customer centered and in fact it’s quite the opposite. And it sends a clear message to the customer that Appliance Service Plus couldn’t care less about me.
